Linda Scott is a graduate of the Citadel's Masters of Arts in Psychology, Clinical Counseling Program. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Linda has been practicing as a Certified Addictions Counselor since 1999. She is now in private practice at East Cooper Counseling in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Linda’s philosophy of treatment is based on the principles of interpersonal process therapy and family systems therapy. At the same time Linda integrates evidenced based treatment modalities to suit each individual case. She is also a "moderation friendly" therapist. Her primary aim is to help clients be more resilient to stress and to increase effective ways to cope with interpersonal events and difficulties. In addition to practicing psychotherapy, she has taught General and Abnormal Psychology at Trident Technical College, Charleston, SC.
